recent photo adventure

Today, Logan and I decided it'd be fun to go out to the Great Salt Lake and take our cameras and watch the sunset, so we got a bunch of good photos and here those are, but we decided that once we got the photos we wanted, we'd go drive on the beach, I know....we were just asking for it... haha so I drove a bit and did some doughnuts, and then Logan wanted a turn so I let him have the wheel lol we were going through puddles and decided to go through this rather large puddle, and well it was alot deeper than we thought it was, we ended up front in and luckily stopped before our back end followed. We tried for about 20 mins, the two of us pushing and trying to back it out, it wasn't coming so I took a deep breath and called my dad. He's a lifesaver, he brought his truck out along with a tow chain and a towing cable, both got some good use! we had to dig in the freezing cold water for a while to get the suction to break on the wheels, we were soooo cold and wet! We were getting ready to leave it there when my dad said lets try this one more time so Logan and I hunkered in trying to push from the front, which mind you is in about two and a half feet of water, so we're soaked, and my dad gave it a few goes and we finally broke loose! it was an adventure thats for sure! I'm just glad I still have a rear bumper on my car!
The Great Salt Lake is famous for its sunsets and is a popular wedding photo backdrop.

Reflections are great off the ponds, in fact, this is the one we got the jeep stuck in :D
Paw prints
The smoke stack
I don't think these pictures were worth all the fuss, but the story definitely is! oh and I would've got a speeding ticket on the way home, peddle was to the floor while on the freeway passing a cop, too bad for him, my car's top speed is the speed limit :D
