Lake Powell

Over UEA weekend, A few friends and I decided to take advantage of a few free days off of school and go down to Lake Powell to get one last Hurrah in before the cold weather settled in, Rick Lucas, My good friend, Whitney's dad, was gracious enough to take us and drive the boats. It was a ton of fun, we didn't have any technical problems, which is unusual for us, last time we were down, the house boat only had one motor that would work so it made turning an absolute nightmare! but this time everything went smoothly and worry free!
This is Mike, Whitney's boyfriend, who always lightens the mood by being his funny self.

Red Pine Hiking Trip

We had some friends from Alaska come into town to visit, and they have some family here that thought it'd be a good idea to go on a simple day hike, we stopped at this lake, and by this time, my legs were kind of tired and I was ready to turn around, but no, our guide pulls out her water purifier and suggests that we fill up out water bottles because we have a rough trail ahead of us. haha it was a fun hike but I don't think I'll do that one often.
This was the lake I felt like staying at.
This is Hattie. When we go hiking, my brother, her and I all end up talking about Jamba Juice, who knows why but we always do.

Bear Lake

This weekend I spent up in Bear Lake with my dad, his friend Mark and his wife Roxanne, The two boys went up to play with their swift solos and get in the water, I got to windsurf, soak up the sun and nap all weekend! It was sooo nice! The water was so blue, clear and cold, it was refreshing. Of course on the way home we had to stop off for a famous Raspberry shake, it was deffinately worth the long wait, it was delicious!
